Serial Product Creation

Direct marketing concentric circles theory: Get the interest of the prospect with a low-cost product, build trust, then progressively increase his involvement and emotional attachment with increasing sophisticated (and increasingly expensive) products, workshops and seminars.

Product serialization. Each product is split into 4-6 products: Inexpensive ($17) or free "freeline" product. Followed up by a more substantial downloadable product (say, $47). Then a physical product in $97 range -- could be a DVD and workbook, can be sold on eBay. Then move up to more personal consulting $297 for, say, 3 x 1-hour sessions and email support, and finally, 2-day seminars $1497.

Sample Sales Funnel Product Series

By Sean R Mize

sales funnel, of course, is a series of progressively more expensive products to which you progressively offer to buyers of the last product in the series.

A sample sales funnel might look like this:
A free product (to get people into your funnel)
A $27 product (to give people a taste of your style)
A $47 product (to offer more education)
A $97 product (to give people advanced material)
A $497 product (to give people step by step cookie cutter instructions)
A $5000 product (to give people hands – on experience)

As you move the people on your subscriber list through this sales funnel, a certain percentage of people will buy your first product, a certain percentage of those will be purchasers of your second product, and so on. And from time to time you may have some individuals choose to jump a level and buy something bigger.
So what could these products be?

I think you should start at the capstone product – the most expensive one, envision what that product is, and then build your entire funnel to lead into that product. Of course, most people do not do it that way. I didn’t, either. They and I basically start with the smallest product we can get a fee for, just to get started, and then once that is selling nicely, we create a bigger product to meet the needs of the people who bought the first product. And that system is ok – in a lot of ways it is market-driven.

But I propose that if you start with the biggest product in mind first, you can build a funnel that is designed to lead people to your biggest product, over time, rather than scrambling to make the next product impulsively.

I think you can go so far as to specifically target the types of individuals you think need your final product, when you do your initial traffic generation. So instead of randomly bringing people into your sales funnel, you are specifically selecting individuals who will eventually buy your final capstone product.

So what could these products be? Starting at the final product, how about:

$5000 hands-on 3 day intensive coaching program where the participant leaves with a final product they can sell.
$497 product – a step by step guide to producing a miniature version of what they would create in the $5000 seminar
$97 product – a guide to creating that product
$47 – explanation of product
$27 – introduction to product

What about you? What would your sales funnel look like if you started from the capstone product and worked down?

Fast Product Funnel Creation - 5 Ultimate Ways to Supercharge Your Product Funnel Creation

By Sean R Mize

ould you like to offer your customer base with series of products? Would you like to earn the trust of these people so you can easily promote repeat business? Would you like to ensure yourself with steady stream of income? Then, you need to supercharge your product funnel. Here's how you can do so:

1. Target a profitable niche. Go with niches that require several different products so you can easily boost your product line. Also, ensure that the people you are targeting are more than willing to spend their money on your creations particularly on your high ticket products so you will not have a single problem moving them to every level of your funnel.

2. Create different products. You need to come up with low-end, middle-end, and high-end products that will address the varying needs of your potential clients. Your low-end products are perfect for those people who are beginners or who are just starting out (this is applicable if you are selling information base products). Your middle-end and high-end products should be designed to meet the advanced needs of your customer base.

3. Convert potential clients to buying customers. Move your potential clients to the first level of your funnel by effectively convincing them to purchase your low-end products. These people will not have any issue swiping their credit cards if you offer them inexpensive but valuable products on their first purchase.

4. Make a follow-up. Don't give up if your potential clients don't make a purchase right away. You may further convince these people to purchase by doing quick follow-ups through emails or phone calls. If those don't work either, you may opt to offer them irresistible deals. Give them huge discounts or offer with them amazing add-ons that they will not be able to resist. Once you were able to qualify these people on the first level of your funnel, it will get a lot easier for you to promote repeat business as long as you give them their money's worth, offer them world-class customer service, and by being responsive to their needs and demands.

5. Solicit feedback. Let your customer base know that you also value their opinions by asking them to submit their thoughts and suggestions through your website. This simple gesture will not only help you identify the areas that you need to improve on but it will also promote customer trust and loyalty among your clients.
